OUTSIDE IN is a celebratory and historical look at street art and graffiti through the lens of the Museum of Contemporary Art’s groundbreaking exhibition Art in the Streets. The film features renowned artists Shepard Fairey, Lee Quiñones, Swoon, Futura, Mister Cartoon, Revok, Martha Cooper, Invader to name a few. Director Alex Stapleton (Corman’s World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel) documents the artist’s creative process, their pitfalls with the law, the poetic impermanence of their craft and the artists’ evolution from the back seat of a cop car to the walls of a well-respected institution. Filmed at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) in conjunction with the exhibition Art in the Streets.
Eine is one of London’t most prolific street artists. As part of a global installation that Eine has painted in numerous other cities in the world he proclaims a positive message open for interpretation. The optimism in “Great Adventure” is equally founded in the brilliant colors and type.
Ben Flynn also known as Ben Eine has been missing in the city of Bejing, China since late September 2011. These are the last known recordings of him since his disappearance. If you have any information on his whereabouts please notify the authorities.
In July-August 2011, five street artists were invited to NHH Norwegian School of Economics to give their comments on capitalism directly on the schools huge white walls. The project was a collaboration with the Nuart Festival, and what Escif, M-City, EINE, DOLK and Hyuro came up with can be seen from this video. NHH Norwegian School of Economics has, in close collaboration with the Nuart Festival, invited some of the worlds leading street artists to comment on capitalism on the schools huge, white walls. The artists will produce their works in the period of July-August, while the project culminates in a seminar at Sept 6th where representatives from the street art scene will go head to head with some of NHH’s leading economists.

This doc follows street artist Ben Eine as he paints the side of The London Graphics Centre (londongraphics.co.uk/) in Covent Garden, London with his trademark brightly coloured typography. In an area dominated by “two Prets, a Gap and a Starbucks” on every high street, Ben set out with the aim of stirring up debate with Westminster Council, who currently have a zero tolerance policy on graffiti and street art.
